We Froze!
I love it when my Sundays are fun! Today was one of those days when four of us (me, Hilyah, Karuna and Khidmah (Hilyah's sister) joined the KL Freeze in Unison thingy at Pavilion KL. My freezing position was quite ackward as I froze (straining my back) standing while shooting the entire 12.5 minutes! Damn that was long and apparently the longest compared to the ones in New York and London. Kudos Malaysians!
So yeah we were kind of sceptical as to whether it would all go down as planned since the people came in droves at the gathering place at Lot 10 first. Let's just say the security guards were puzzled. Anyway, the "organisers" played their game well when handing out the orange flyers on the freezing place. I even overheard a tourist say ... "What is this? Freezing?! This is insane!" Ha! It was a good business day for Pavilion I might add... Should have worn more comfortable shoes though...sigh. After unfreezing, we did some window shopping and I bought a fantabulous vest and got a free pearl in Isetan! Woo hoo... Drove home later and ended up in Bangsar and chilled at the mamak for a while... drove home... tired!

Mamma Mia!
Right...Today I had to do a restaurant review at this fancy schmancy Italian place at KL Pavilion, aptly named Michelangelo's. I must say I loved the black and white decor which complemented the paintings on the wall. The food was good I have to say. It's been a while since I sampled tasty spaghetti marinara that's worth bragging about. It was actually spicy, which I simply loved! Not so much heat, but warmth of the spices made it tasty.
Anyway, check out the pics ... (disclaimer: food pictorials might make one salivate :-) ) One of the reasons why I love taking food pics ... honing my skills, people.
