A Day At The Office
It is freakin' cold today the office! Felt like I needed a pair of mittens and socks in this iglue. Anyway, blame it on the rain.
Toilet paper is apparently a hot commodity at the office. Here was a the scene today with our accounts clerk Poh Lian, me and my editor, Rich, in his room:
Poh Lian: Richard, I have something valuable for you (both her hands behind her back).
Rich: (face brimming with joy) Is it my expense cheque?!
Poh Lian: No ... (followed by showing the contents in her hands) this!..
Rich: (puzzled) Toilet paper?
Poh Lian: Hey, this is very precious here.
Me: Just imagine a world without them...
Rich: I have two rolls right here (proceeds to open his desk drawer)..
Poh Lian: (astonished with the abundance of toilet paper) Good, now I know where to go If I ever run out.
Rich: How much do you girls use anyway? (followed by gesturing rolling out metres and metres of toilet paper)
Poh Lian: Hmm, there's always using it to cover the seat...
Me: You know how it is, Rich... no tissue, no tushy.
So, yes.
Yesterday, me, Karuna, Parames and Josh went to watch Rush Hour 3. #$%^ing hilarious. Go see it! It was good to have a good ol' hearty laugh. That and the fact that Josh always cracks us up with well ... Josh. Here is another scene at Secret Recipe at Pyramid after the movie:

Karuna: Josh, please tell Parames your full name.
Me: (Interjected) wait, wait please let me... Joshua...
Karuna/Josh: Dei! ... (laughing like monkeys)
Me: Isn't Josh short for Joshua?!
Josh: No!
Me: Oh... (obviously embarrassed) ok so it's Josh Pulimeth George
Karuna: Eh, so is Pulimeth the name of a village in India?
Josh: Aiyo, no la, I don't think so. I think it's a...
Me: Is it a TRIBE?
Karuna: (Laughing like Karuna)
Josh: (Hidung kembang) Ya, ya... we also have our weapons and tribal dance...
Oieh.... we are a loony bunch of people. In other news, I'll be hauling my tush to Christmas Island next month .. woo hoo!! I also discovered there is a place called Hugh's Waterfall there. Jackman, come on Jackman... Should be fun and dandy, I hope.
